12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
12:1 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲥϫⲟⲗϩ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲓⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲥϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲟⲩⲭ̀ⲗⲟⲙ ⲉϥⲧⲟⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲥⲁⲫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲧⲥ̀ⲛⲁⲩ (ⲓ̅ⲃ̅) ⲛ̀ⲥⲓⲟⲩ.
1 وَظَهَرَتْ آيَةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ فِي السَّمَاءِ: امْرَأَةٌ مُتَسَرْبِلَةٌ بِالشَّمْسِ، وَالْقَمَرُ تَحْتَ رِجْلَيْهَا، وَعَلَى رَأْسِهَا إِكْلِيلٌ مِنِ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ كَوْكَباً،
12:2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
12:2 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲙ̀ⲃⲟⲕⲓ ⲉⲥⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲥϯⲛⲁⲕϩⲓ ⲉⲥⲙⲟⲕϩ ⲉⲥⲛⲁⲙⲓⲥⲓ.
2 وَهِيَ حُبْلَى تَصْرُخُ مُتَمَخِّضَةً وَمُتَوَجِّعَةً لِتَلِدَ.
12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
12:3 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲉⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲭ̀ⲣⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣⲁϣϥ (ⲍ̅) ⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲏⲧ (ⲓ̅) ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲡ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣⲁϣϥ (ⲍ̅) ⲛ̀ⲭ̀ⲗⲟⲙ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲁ̀ⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀.
3 وَظَهَرَتْ آيَةٌ أُخْرَى فِي السَّمَاءِ: هُوَذَا تِنِّينٌ عَظِيمٌ أَحْمَرُ لَهُ سَبْعَةُ رُؤُوسٍ وَعَشَرَةُ قُرُونٍ، وَعَلَى رُؤُوسِهِ سَبْعَةُ تِيجَانٍ.
12:4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
12:4 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲁⲧ ⲁϥⲱϣϯ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲉϣⲟⲙⲧ (ⲅ̅) ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲥⲓⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲛ̀ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲥϣⲁⲛⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϢⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲟⲙⲕϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ.
4 وَذَنَبُهُ يَجُرُّ ثُلْثَ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ فَطَرَحَهَا إِلَى الأَرْضِ. وَالتِّنِّينُ وَقَفَ أَمَامَ الْمَرْأَةِ الْعَتِيدَةِ أَنْ تَلِدَ حَتَّى يَبْتَلِعَ وَلَدَهَا مَتَى وَلَدَتْ.
12:5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
12:5 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϢⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ϩⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣ̀ⲃⲱⲧ ⲙ̀ⲃⲉⲛⲓⲡⲓ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϢⲏⲣⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ϩⲁ Ⲫ̀ϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁ ⲡⲉϥⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ.
5 فَوَلَدَتِ ابْناً ذَكَراً عَتِيداً أَنْ يَرْعَى جَمِيعَ الأُمَمِ بِعَصاً مِنْ حَدِيدٍ. وَاخْتُطِفَ وَلَدُهَا إِلَى اللهِ وَإِلَى عَرْشِهِ،
12:6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
12:6 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲥⲫⲱⲧ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲁϥⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁ Ⲫ̀ϯ ⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ ⲛⲁⲥ: ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲥⲉϣⲁⲛⲟⲩϣⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ (ⲥ̅) ⲛ̀ⲥⲉ(ⲝ̅) ⲛ̀ⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ.
6 وَالْمَرْأَةُ هَرَبَتْ إِلَى الْبَرِّيَّةِ حَيْثُ لَهَا مَوْضِعٌ مُعَدٌّ مِنَ اللهِ لِكَيْ يَعُولُوهَا هُنَاكَ أَلْفاً وَمِئَتَيْنِ وَسِتِّينَ يَوْماً.
12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
12:7 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲙ̀ⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ: Ⲙⲓⲭⲁⲏⲗ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉϥⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲃⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉϥⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ.
7 وَحَدَثَتْ حَرْبٌ فِي السَّمَاءِ: مِيخَائِيلُ وَمَلاَئِكَتُهُ حَارَبُوا التِّنِّينَ. وَحَارَبَ التِّنِّينُ وَمَلاَئِكَتُهُ
12:8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
12:8 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥϣ̀ϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲟⲩⲃⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϯ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲭⲁ ⲙⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ.
8 وَلَمْ يَقْوُوا، فَلَمْ يُوجَدْ مَكَانُهُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ.
12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
12:9 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ϩⲟϥ ⲡ̀ⲁⲣⲭⲉⲟⲥ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲓⲆⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲡ̀Ⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ.
9 فَطُرِحَ التِّنِّينُ الْعَظِيمُ، الْحَيَّةُ الْقَدِيمَةُ الْمَدْعُوُّ إِبْلِيسَ وَالشَّيْطَانَ، الَّذِي يُضِلُّ الْعَالَمَ كُلَّهُ - طُرِحَ إِلَى الأَرْضِ، وَطُرِحَتْ مَعَهُ مَلاَئِكَتُهُ.
12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
12:10 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲥ̀ⲙⲏ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ: ϫⲉ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲁ ⲡⲓⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲚⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲡⲉϥⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲣⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲥ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲣⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲙ̀Ⲫ̀ϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϫⲱⲣϩ.
10 وَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتاً عَظِيماً قَائِلاً فِي السَّمَاءِ: «الآنَ صَارَ خَلاَصُ إِلَهِنَا وَقُدْرَتُهُ وَمُلْكُهُ وَسُلْطَانُ مَسِيحِهِ، لأَنَّهُ قَدْ طُرِحَ الْمُشْتَكِي عَلَى إِخْوَتِنَا الَّذِي كَانَ يَشْتَكِي عَلَيْهِمْ أَمَامَ إِلَهِنَا نَهَاراً وَلَيْلاً.
12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
12:11 Ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϭ̀ⲣⲟ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡ̀ⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓϨⲓⲏⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡ̀ⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲙⲁⲣⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲯ̀ⲩⲭⲏ ϣⲁ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲫ̀ⲙⲟⲩ.
11 وَهُمْ غَلَبُوهُ بِدَمِ الْحَمَلِ وَبِكَلِمَةِ شَهَادَتِهِمْ، وَلَمْ يُحِبُّوا حَيَاتَهُمْ حَتَّى الْمَوْتِ.
12:12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."
12:12 Ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫ̀ⲓⲟⲙ. Ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲙ̀ⲃⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲛ̀ⲧⲁϥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ.
12 مِنْ أَجْلِ هَذَا افْرَحِي أَيَّتُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالسَّاكِنُونَ فِيهَا. وَيْلٌ لِسَاكِنِي الأَرْضِ وَالْبَحْرِ، لأَنَّ إِبْلِيسَ نَزَلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَبِهِ غَضَبٌ عَظِيمٌ، عَالِماً أَنَّ لَهُ زَمَاناً قَلِيلاً».
12:13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.
12:13 Ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁϥϭⲟϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲙⲓⲥⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϢⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ϩⲱⲟⲩⲧ.
13 وَلَمَّا رَأَى التِّنِّينُ أَنَّهُ طُرِحَ إِلَى الأَرْضِ، اضْطَهَدَ الْمَرْأَةَ الَّتِي وَلَدَتْ الاِبْنَ الذَّكَرَ،
12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
12:14 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛϩ ⲥ̀ⲛⲁⲩ (ⲃ̅) ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁ ⲟⲩⲁϧⲱⲙ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲥϩⲱⲗ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲁϥⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲫ̀ⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁϣⲁⲛⲟⲩϣⲥ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧ̀ⲫⲁϣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⲡ̀ϩⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϩⲟϥ.
14 فَأُعْطِيَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ جَنَاحَيِ النَّسْرِ الْعَظِيمِ لِكَيْ تَطِيرَ إِلَى الْبَرِّيَّةِ إِلَى مَوْضِعِهَا، حَيْثُ تُعَالُ زَمَاناً وَزَمَانَيْنِ وَنِصْفَ زَمَانٍ مِنْ وَجْهِ الْحَيَّةِ.
12:15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
12:15 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓϩⲟϥ ⲁϥϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱϥ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲓⲁⲣⲟ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲫⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ.
15 فَأَلْقَتِ الْحَيَّةُ مِنْ فَمِهَا وَرَاءَ الْمَرْأَةِ مَاءً كَنَهْرٍ لِتَجْعَلَهَا تُحْمَلُ بِالنَّهْرِ.
12:16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
12:16 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲣⲱϥ ⲁϥⲟ̀ⲙⲕ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲓⲁⲣⲟ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁ ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲫⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ.
16 فَأَعَانَتِ الأَرْضُ الْمَرْأَةَ وَفَتَحَتِ الأَرْضُ فَمَهَا وَابْتَلَعَتِ النَّهْرَ الَّذِي أَلْقَاهُ التِّنِّينُ مِنْ فَمِهِ.
12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
12:17 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉ̀ⲓⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡ̀ⲥⲉⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲥ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲙⲁ ⲛ̀ϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲓⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲫ̀ϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ.
17 فَغَضِبَ التِّنِّينُ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ، وَذَهَبَ لِيَصْنَعَ حَرْباً مَعَ بَاقِي نَسْلِهَا الَّذِينَ يَحْفَظُونَ وَصَايَا اللهِ، وَعِنْدَهُمْ شَهَادَةُ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ.
