A star appeared to the magi;
a king before the ages.
O all you tribes,
come let us worship
Him who was born upon the earth.

ⲃⲁⲥⲓⲗⲉⲩⲥ ⲡⲣⲟ ⲉⲱⲛⲱⲛ:

ⲇⲉⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲕⲩⲛⲏⲥⲱⲙⲉⲛ:
ⲧⲱ ⲧⲉⲭⲑⲉⲛⲧⲓ ⲧⲱ ⲉⲡⲓ ⲅⲏⲥ.
Your star appeared to the magi,
O king who is prior to time.
O you tribes of the earth,
gather together to worship him;
he who was born upon the earth.

ⲙ̀ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲙⲁⲥϥ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ.
نجمُكَ ظھرَ للمجوسِ،
أیُّھا الملكُ الذى قبلَ الدھورِ،
یا كلَّ قبائلِ الأرضِ،
تعالوا نسجد
لمن وُلدَ على الأرضِ.
The magi saw the wonder:
Life has dawned forth.
The magi gave gifts to Him,
praising God who was born:
“Glory to you, O Holy One.”
+ Ⲉⲃⲗⲉⲡⲟⲛ ⲓ ⲙⲁⲅⲓ ⲧⲟ ⲑⲁⲩⲙⲁ:
ⲍⲱⲏⲛ ⲁⲛⲁⲧⲉⲗⲗⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛ:
ⲙⲁⲅⲓ ⲁⲩⲧⲱ ⲇⲱⲣⲁ:
ⲑⲉⲟⲛ ⲩⲛⲙⲟⲩⲛⲧⲉⲥ ⲉⲇⲱⲕⲁⲛ:
Ⲇⲟⲝⲁ ⲥⲓ ⲁⲅⲓⲉ.

A visible marvel, the magi saw.
Life [himself] emerged and came forth.
They offered their gifts to Him,
praising God who was born, saying,
“Glory be to you, O holy one.”

ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲅⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲉⲛ ⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ ⲛⲁϥ:
ⲉⲩϩⲱⲥ ⲉ̀Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩϫ̀ⲫⲟϥ:
ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ.
المجوسُ رأوا لأعجوبةَ،
والحیاةُ أشرقتْآتْ،
المجوسُ قدمُوا له ھدایا
مُسبحینَ للهَ الذي وُلدَ (قائلینَ)
المجدُ لك أًّیھا القدوسُ.
Behold the virgin giving birth
and God among men.
God the Logos has appeared.
Great is the mystery
of the birth of Emmanuel.

ⲕⲉ ⲑⲉⲟⲥ ⲉⲛ ⲁⲛⲑⲣⲱⲡⲓⲥ:
ⲗⲟⲅⲟⲥ ⲑⲉⲟⲥ ⲁⲛⲉⲧⲉⲓⲗⲉⲛ:
ⲙⲉⲅⲁ ⲧⲟ ⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ:
ⲧⲟⲩ ⲧⲟⲕⲟⲩ Ⲉⲙⲙⲁⲛⲟⲩⲏⲗ.

Behold, the Virgin has given birth!
[Son of] God has become [Son of] man!
God the Logos came to us!
Great is the mystery:
the birth of Emmanuel.

Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲓⲗⲟⲅⲟⲥ ⲁϥϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲛ:
ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲙ̀ⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ:
ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓϫⲫⲟ ⲛ̀Ⲉⲙⲙⲁⲛⲟⲩⲏⲗ.
ھا العذراءُ ولدت،
واللهُ صارإنساناً (تأنسَ)،
اللهُ الكَلمةُ أشرق لَنا،
عظیمٌ ھو سرُ
میلادِ عمانوئیلَ.
She became a temple of the Lord.
Strange is this miracle.
The one who came willingly of her,
O all you tribes of the earth,
let us bless Him.
+Ⲛⲁⲟⲥ Ⲕⲩⲣⲓⲟⲩ ⲅⲉⲅⲟⲛⲉⲛ:
ⲝⲉⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲟ ⲑⲁⲩⲙⲁ ⲧⲟⲩⲧⲟ:
ⲟ ⲉⲛ ⲃⲟⲩⲗⲏ ⲉⲝ ⲁⲩⲧⲏⲥ:
ⲡⲁⲥⲉ ⲉ ⲫⲩⲗⲉ ⲧⲏⲥ ⲅⲏⲥ:
ⲙⲁⲕⲁⲣⲓⲥⲱⲙⲉⲛ ⲁⲩⲧⲟⲛ.

She came to be a temple for God.
This miracle is wonderful.
He chose to dwell within her.
O all you tribes of the earth,
let us bless this holy place.

ⲱ ⲛⲓⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ:
ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲙⲁⲕⲁⲣⲓⲍⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ.
ھیكلاً لله صارَتْ،
عجیبةٌ ھى المعجزةُ ،
قا ارادَ أن یسكنَ فیھا،
یا كلَّ قبائلِ الأرضِ،
فلنطوبه.
The rod of Aaron
has become with God,
perfecting the branches,
by the magi and the Hebrew.
Come let us worship Him.

ⲥⲩⲛ ⲑⲉⲱ ⲉⲅⲉⲛⲉⲧⲟ:
ⲧⲟⲩⲥ ⲕⲗⲁⲇⲟⲩⲥ ⲥⲩⲛⲉⲗⲟⲩⲥⲁ:
ⲩⲡⲟ ⲧⲱⲛ ⲙⲁⲅⲱⲛ ⲕⲉ Ⲉⲃⲣⲁⲓⲱⲛ:
ⲇⲉⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲕⲩⲛⲏⲥⲱⲙⲉⲛ.

The rod in the hand of Aaron
dwelt with God and befriended him.
Her branches sprouted and blossomed
by means of the magi and the Hebrews.
Draw near to bow down to him.

ⲁ ⲛⲉϥⲕⲗⲁⲇⲟⲥ ⲫⲓⲣⲓ ⲁϥϯⲟⲩⲱ:
ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲅⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϩⲉⲃⲣⲉⲟⲥ:
ⲁⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲁϥ.
العصا التى فى ید ھارونَ
قدصارت مع للهِ،
وفروعھا أنیعت وازھرت،
من قبل المجوس و العبرانیین،
تعالوا لنس د له.
Light of light has shined forth.
We have been filled with joy,
chanting with the magi,
“Have faith, O unbelievers,
in the coming of Christ.
+ Ⲫⲱⲥ ⲉⲕ ⲫⲱⲧⲟⲥ ⲁⲛⲉⲧⲏⲗⲉⲛ:
ⲭⲁⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲡⲗⲏⲣⲟⲙⲉⲑⲁ:
ⲯⲁⲗⲁⲧⲉ ⲙⲁⲅⲓ:
ⲟ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲥⲱⲙⲉⲛ:
ⲧⲏⲛ ⲧⲟⲩ Ⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲣⲣⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ.

Light from Light dawned on us
and we have abounded in joy,
singing and chanting with the magi,
"O faithless [ones], let us believe
in the coming of [the Lord] Christ."

ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡ̀ϫⲓⲛⲓ ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ.
النورُ من نورٍ قد أشرقَ،
فامتلأنا كلنا فرحاً،
نرتل مع املجوس، (قائلینَ)
یا غیرالمؤمنین فلنؤمن
بمجىء المسیح.
