Hail to you, O Mary, O fair dove who is calling :: السلام لكِ يا مريم، يا يمامة جليلة تصيح

1. Hail to you, O Mary, /
O fair dove who is calling /
With a voice full of rejoicing /
Of a great mystery announcing.

2. Hail to you, O vine, /
Whose fruitful branches blossom /
With exalted understanding, /
The beginning of the spring of wisdom.

3. Hail to the hidden vessel /
Before the beginning of time, /
Containing the Light of Light /
In the Father’s bosom at all times.

4. Hail to you, O hidden treasure, /
Carrying all mysteries. /
Through you, the promise was fulfilled /
To all the pure forefathers.

5. Hail to you, O tabernacle /
Of the patriarch Abraham, /
A hidden wisdom was revealed /
That perplexed all wisdom.

6. Hail to the spring of Isaac, /
Watering the fruitful plant. /
Hail to the bright dawn, /
Shining in a wasteland.

7. Hail to the joy of Jacob /
All of the blessings’ root, /
And the comfort of all people; /
Through her, the curse was removed.

8. Hail to the famous field /
With a gem in its midst, /
Joseph found it so pure, /
Surpassing all treasures.

9. O pure and chaste field /
Whose Creator is in its midst, /
To whom is majesty and might, /
Who made the ashamed righteous.

10. Hail to Noah’s ark, /
And the star, early and bright. /
Your shining is the coming dawn /
For all creatures, their light.

11. O the untilled field, /
Which no man has planted, /
Its planting was watered /
Through the Holy Spirit.

12. Hail to the created one /
Whose Creator is in her womb. /
By His hands she was made /
And of her, He was born.

13. Bless you, whose mystery /
Is exalted, amazing, and awesome. /
My mind is perplexed, /
Along with all those of wisdom.

14. How bright is your light, /
Shining for those in darkness. /
Satan has deceived your servant, /
Making him deserve Hades.

15. Therefore, woe to me, /
Life passed by, I did not perceive, /
The Vinedresser paid the laborers /
But no wage did I receive.

16. Winter and summer have passed, /
I did not attain salvation; /
The time of reaping has come, /
I am still bound by temptation.

17. O Mother, throne, and Virgin, /
The hope of those without hope, /
I entreat your Son’s forgiveness, /
Not to be on the left-side.

18. I delayed in my trading, /
My talent became useless; /
I came at the eleventh hour /
Hoping to receive wages.

19. I desire you on Judgment Day /
To heal my wounds with your power. /
The time of my departure is near /
In that bitter hour.

20. Help me, I am in bondage, /
O Virgin, I belong to your goodness. / Crown me with victory, /
Grant me tomorrow’s wages.

21. Along with all Christians, /
I ask for peace and salvation. /
Your intercession we seek, /
O intercessor of all creation.

22. The mention of your name,
Is in all the believers’ mouths,
They all say, “O God of the Virgin Mary,
Help all of us.”
