Our savior has summoned us
to all live with Him
he gave us a new covenant
which is His love
he took bread and gave thanks
he blessed it and sanctified
he broke it and gave the disciples
eat of it, this is my body
from the chalice, he gave them
this is the covenant for life
my blood shed for mankind
to forgive all sins
it is the heavenly manna
the body of our savior
the remedy for my soul
and the healer of my body
the mercy of our God
is indeed so great
mercy and love
together in this sacrament
the angels and all creatures
completely submit to him
hes the only lord to worship
with love and great awe
our lord is the true god
he is the glorious magnified
now i am closer to him
because he is in my heart
