Okay, in TIMOTHY 5: 20
20 Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.
but in Matthew 18:15-17
Dealing with a Sinning Brother
15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’[a] 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
So which shud we do??
Comments
AMEN!
during the days of the early church, people confessed their sins in public. that got to be too judgemental, and less and less people were confessing, so the church changed it to confessing to priest only.
for the timothy verse an example would be if someone is talking in church. dont take them aside and tell them to be quiet, no, tell that person, in a nice way, in front of whoever is there to stop talking, so the rest see not to do that.
hope that helped
