Okay in 2 Peter 1:4
by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

how can u escape corruption through lust, when lust is corruption and a sin?

    the corruption that is in the world [came as a result of] lust; it came through lust

    Lust brought the curruption....read the verse again and you'll see what im talking about
