what really is the true meaning of Christmas?

christmas is supposed to be a holiday to celebrate and rejoice for our lord Jesus Christ's birth. not to get presents and have a nice dinner. its a time to get with your family and talk about the lord and go to church. i know for sure at least myself i look forward to christman for the presents when i was little. but now its time to grow up because the time is coming when god will come dow from heaven and judge the living and the dead.

    True True!

    But should we not give any presents anymore? I would think we should because through these acts of love we commune with God right? (because God is love).. but I think maybe we shouldnt give presents on Christmas or Nativity because the pagans do it I think (I think christmas has pagan origins)...

    and hey if like easter and christmas are spiritual feasts why do we care so much about the fooood and driiinnk and new clothes ?
