Romans 8(King James Version)
9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
What does this mean? Dont you have the Holy Spirit even when you commit habitual sin? .. thats being in the flesh I think...
You get it from church sacraments I think...
I think the Holy Spirit might of left me after I commited a very bad habitual sin for a long time.. and I think it came back to me..

2- When that person walks according to the flesh, meaning committing sins, he/she grieves the Holy Spirit and finally extinguishes Him.
3- The Holy Spirit does not leave the person, but he/she does not feel any more the work of the Grace and loose, first the peace of God and then all the Fruits of the Spirits, because he/she is now a sinful person. The Holy Spirit always condemns and encourages for the person to return to the state of repentance.
4- Once the person deep heartedly repents and confessed his/her sins, then the Holy Spirit gives first peace and then all the fruits of being a dwelling of the Spirit of God.
