Nisavev Tiro

Guys,

Is it right to sing this when a bishop is not present?

  • Hmmm.... well some people say it on some feasts... but I think this is wrong because if we look at the words

    [coptic]Nicabeu tyrou `nte pIcrayl@ ny`et`erhwb `enikap `nnoub@ ma;amio `nou`s;yn `nAarwn kata `ptaio `n]met`ou`yb@ [/coptic]

All the wise men of Israel, who craft threads of gold, make a garment of Aaron according to the honor of the priesthood of,
يا كل حكماء اسرائيل صناع خيوط الذهب، اصنعوا ثوباً هارونيا لائقا بكرامة كهنوت،

[coptic]`mpeniwt ettaiyout `n`ar,i`ereuc papa abba (Senouda)@ pimenrit `nte Pi`,rictoc.[/coptic] our honored father, the high priest, Pope Abba (Shenouda), the beloved of Christ.

It is about venerating the priesthood of the Pope and Bishop present - seems suited for that purpose and that purpose only.

    pray for me

  • See Joe,

Its become really fashionable to sing this in every single Parisien Church.

You are complaining about me doing stuff out of "tuqs (i.e. Agios Athanatos Nai nan)." but, this really beats.
So, how is it they can do Nisavev Tiro when there is no Bishop Nor pope, and yet u guys don't allow me to do Agios Athanatos Nainan when I want in the tasbeha?? Anyway... let's not get into that.. but this is just a point I want to draw your attention to in case any of u are going to confess this week. Remember that!.

Yeah, dude, I LOVE it: Nisavev Tiro. Its a shame the priest doesnt let them finish.

  • i am not repeating my long arguments about this. you can find those here:
