Jesus said "When the son of man comes, will he really find faith on the earth." I used to think this was talking about the end of the world. I used to coorelate with the other verse "If they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?" But recently I heard someone tell me that it is talking about every time after the ressurection, i.e., the world is always so faithless. Can anyone explain to me the interpretation of the verse?

Hello Brother,
"When the son of man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
God was telling us about the last days I think. Jesus calls Himself the son of man in the Bible. The last days will not begin with a specific date. God told us the signs. If you really observe what is happening now in our era, certainly these are parts of the last day.
Most of the signs r happening but we r blind. Look at Matthew 24.
About faith? who really have faith in the living God? almost all have forgotten Him. Even those who are Christians, by name we are.
31Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. (Mark 13:31)
Who fast with faith that a man lives by the words of God but not only food? we eat so much and care so much care for our bodies. Who gives to the poor with faith that God will supply his needs? but we store in thousands in our banks. Who has left the riches of this world by faith seeing his real home is in the Heaven? but we hate our brothers, envy and quarrel with those who r blessed with this temporary wealth. We work day and night without ceasing for this vain world but have no time to say a word to God, to say "Remember me in Your Kingdom".
We have no faith in God. We read the Bible but we don't live according to it. We talk so much of God but never do His will. We r a tree without fruit. For those who see us from far we look like we bear fruit but near, deep in our heart we love ourselves, we love the lusts of the flesh, we love this world and we reject the pain of carrying The Holy Cross.
This trend is increasing day after day; being Last year always to be brighter than this year.
Look at Mark 13 the whole Chapter.
There might be many articles written about the last days. Looking forward to hearing from brothers and sisters.
May God be with us in everything we do, always!!!
But if he is talking about the end of the world, does that mean that the good christians (who will be saved) at that come are not comparable to Christians of earlier periods?
Also, why is the world getting more evil? Is it because they are being more and more condemned by their resistance of the church's preaching. Is God just waiting for a time when the whole world will be so evil that no saints will be able to be born in it and then he will destroy it?
