Hi,
Could someone provide me with the lyrics to the above named Hymn. I do believe it is sung after the Bible reading or sermon on Sundays. WHat is the equivalent hymn for weekday liturgies?
Could you kindly provide me the lyrics for both options?
Also, it would be good if tasbeha.org could make an MP3-On-DEMAND. People pay you to sing something, you record it on mp3 and email it to them (or ftp it to them) and they pay u a small donation to the site.
I don't know what your voices sound like, but it could appeal to others, such as myself, that may not be accustomed to the voices of some of the mo3alimeen that you've uploaded on this site.
Thanks

It is the Annual liturgy Gospel reponse:
http://tasbeha.org/hymn_library/view/329 i wouldn't know if that would be a good idea. not everything you listen to and learn from deacons you'd repeat we khalas keda.

Hi,

I don't understand, if the people who work at tasbeha.org are deacons also, and they can sing, I'm sure they would be trustworthy - just as much as anyone else.
I am not talking about specific people of tasbeha. The more a hymn is recorded be taught from someone WITHOUT reviewing the source , lowers the accuracy of the hymns down the yrs for future deacons.
Yeah, but Mina, I was just hoping to enjoy the hymn.
If you watch CTV, there's a guy and his daughter that teach and sing the tasbeha. Their voices together are beautiful, but its absolutely NOTHING like mo3alim ibrahim's version, nor anba Youannis. If you listen how they sing Khen O shot for example. Its beautiful how they do it, its with musical instruments, and they even teach it to others using musical scales and a Piano (or Organ i think sometimes).
I think we can be precise with Alhan AND sound good. Its TOTALLY POINTLESS singing badly yet correctly in terms of the hazzat. It sounds like a cat when you don't give her food sometimes. Its awful.

I don't agree with you ever on your point - hymns are not there for our changing as deemed likable by us but as tools for our unity in the church

I don't agree with those who sing the hymns in other styles which are not genuine, that this damages the hymns and our unity

I really disagree with u! Hymns are for praying. Period. The creed is for Church unity, and our dogmas and cannons. That's it. Don't make more out of it than it needs to be. Like I said, it is possible to at least sing well and with the right hazzat. Blessed are u if u can do both.
Like I said, watch CTV, the singers unfortunately have changed nearly EVERY single Coptic hymn. It sounds more funky and upbeat, and they're teaching it. Furthermore, CTV is blessed by H.H Pope Shenouda. If there's a program where they are teaching a Coptic hymn using organs, violins and piano instruments that sounds different than Mo3alim Ibrahim's version, then too bad for u.

DO NOT eve think about any fathers names into this. They do not watch every single thing on there. Aghapy TV also is the same way.
H.H is responsible for CTV with Anba Youannis. There is no debate here.
REREAD what I have said before..... Don't just take one part of it

Anyone can do what is likable to them and also put them out on the satellites (satellite channels) but that doesn't mean that they are dependable upon for the very reason you said: they are different than others by other cantors like cantor Ibrahim

Learn whichever one you like, or learn all ways. Learn the way that you can pray with 1st and foremost.
