Isaiah 42:18-20 (New King James Version) 18 “ Hear, you deaf; And look, you blind, that you may see. 19 Who is blind but My servant, Or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, And blind as the LORD’s servant? 20 Seeing many things, but you do not observe; Opening the ears, but he does not hear.”
This seems to be talking about Jesus.. I remember when the pharisees asked jesus are we blind also? He said "if you were blind you would have no sin but now you say you see therefore your sin remains"
This portion of scripture is very interesting to me.. it mentions the blind man being perfect and we know Jesus alone was perfect and was a servant. This is a guess from me.. I found out the last one about exodus was view shared by a church father
Infact this Isaiah passage is very interesting to me.. it mentions this perfect one as being a Servant of God.. the Messiah will be a servant not a ruler! who can this be but Jesus Christ?
