Hello Brothars and Sistas :)

I just wonder how Haidy has become a christian singer?
And when/how she is been discovered?
I really like her songs,
and I wanted to know, who writes her songs and how did she become so proffesional?

Does anyone know something about her?

    I think she just started being famous through the movie "فيلم فخر الرهبنة" fakhrel-rahbna, 1 & 2, about Tamav Ireni. I think it was a great movie and her songs in that movie are what made her famous.

    I doubt she is that professional though!!!! like you can search her name on youtube and you can find a video or 2 of her live.......she misses many notes sometimes.
    Another thing is that most of the songs are new appealing....not necesserly the calm spiritual songs that we have in our church....

    She is still great though....i like some songs of her.

    And the music, is it played by a whole orchestra, or could it be played by only a keyboard?

    what I understand her and mariam botros were in their own little choirs for church... and slowly moved up to sing with coptic taraneem "professionals"... where people started hearing them more, the only reason Heidy is more popular is because she sounds a lot like shereen the Egyptian singer...

    with all honesty, if I can tell you something... if you sing, sing like you're the best! and you will become successful! don't quench your talents!

    Sorry, wasn't impressed.  Her voice is undeveloped, and not disciplined.  Background music was amateur.  The clips from Youtube had plagiarized portions from different Christ movies.

    It is the usual Egyptian voice that sounds like it is having difficulty breathing.

    I never heard of her until I read this thread.

    I guess if you like that kind of genre; enjoy!

    am sorry. but it's true. ppl don't like the slow base and classic christian taranim (spiritual songs) anymore. they just like some one who sings like singers out there......taranim that have some beat and not ones that stay in the heart and you actually sing every once in a while in your mind.

    all the songs she sings (almost all) can't be sung in a group....wait, can't be sung by ANYONE else and enjoyed.
