I have a question and I want to share this site

Do you think God chose peter and andrew as disciples because they were faithful in their wordly duties?.. they did not anger their parents? they were fishermen just like their parents?

  • This book is a part of the Bible... God chose the Apostles, no one can really tell you why He chose certain People, but He did choose normal people... some chose to stay, and some chose to leave...

Also Many people followed Jesus, and He after that chose from the people those who are to be called apostles, Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles: Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew; Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot; Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot who also became a traitor.

now why did Jesus choose these twelve to be His apostles? they are like the twelve tribes, but personality wise I cannot tell you, nor have I read anything into it... maybe its the fact that they all had various talents? God only knows!

And how shall they preach unless they are sent?

didn't jesus say we are all sent?

yet preaching is not for everyone

How beautiful are the feet of those which preach the gospel of peace

the sinner woman did kiss the feet of jesus because his feet brang the gospel of peace
