Jesus Son of Sirach

33 Better is he that hideth his folly, than the man that hideth his wisdom.


What do you think this verse means? does it mean we need to give our opinion on all things? NO.. I do not want to reply to all topics(not that anyone ever told me to) its too big of a problem for me.. I will post when I have no burdens or other negative things..hopefully I will not post things out of impulse and quickly .. because it will be from the devil probably.. I do not want to work alone.. others have to work with me ..

I never had my own wisdom anyway or opinions.. it was all from the bible.. I myself cannot even read more than 2 chapters of the bible silently.. I want to read it out loud (at home).. I need more discipline again

my dad wants me to concentrate on other things like building a puzzle with my own hands... he wants me to do things with my hands.. but he was never opposed to me being on this forum

sometimes we need to reply to something, eg if it's something God has helped us with and we know how to deal with the situation.
other times we need to humbly consider that other people may have a better answer than we do. if we reply sometimes but not all the time, that is good.
so keep sharing, it's good to hear from you.

  I think the verse is telling how grave it is to bury your wisdom. It is about not sharing what u know to others out of evil purpose.
  All wisdom is not spiritual. Let us say u have a wisdom of "how to study and excel at schools" and u kept it to urself. That is evil. You should rather be generous and share with others.
  There are a million others wisdom we carry be buried it inside us. We could have changed many lives.
  That is how I see the verse. We should not be the desert fathers to share our wisdom. We share what we got.

If you have wisdom and keep it from others, or hide it, then its selfish. Wisdom is definetly God given, and needs to be used to educate or enlighten people.
