Resurrection Hymn - Eklyrekia

Hi everybody

I'm looking for a very beautiful hymn that i've heard today during the mass in St Marc Cathedraeya..
It was just after the speech of the Pope and i guess the hymn begins with Chere.

The hymn that you are referring to is the exposition or "tarh" for the feast of the resurrection. It is called "Chi-ou-oini," as is well known by man cantors. You can find this hymn here by mu3allem Farag: http://www.coptichymns.net/module-hymns-catview-pid-42.html

I could have sworn I heard a recording by Fr. Metias Nasr in tasbeha.org's audio section but cant find it anymore. Hope this helps

tony, maybe same tune but not text. Tarh el-fa'la is said the same way; the tarh itself and not its intro.
