You know it makes me wonder. Future Coptic history books will write of the internet age, and this list will make it to the chapter on blogosphere and forum websites :P
Also by the time the scholars recognize the value of the lists, the Cyber Bedouin who stumbles on the archive will have used a few of the pages to fuel her digital campfire (for the cold wires of the future interwebs will be a harsh and merciless space). Upon realizing that the pages don't process well in her feedburner she will send them to an online sandal maker. When they are finally picked up by future historians scouring the Bazaars of the Habitable City-States of the OAAVGSMMFTCF Conglomerate (Oxford-Apple-Amazon-Viacom-Google-Samsung-Microsoft-MacDonald's-Facebook-Twitter-Chrysler-FIFA Inc), a whole era of forgotten Coptic Orthodox AND Internet history will be revealed ;P
The Orthodox Women’s Ministry (OWM) aims to launch its first international Orthodox conference. The conference’s main objective is to establish an understanding of the role of women from a historical, theological and practical perspective in our modern world.
There is a great desire to meet the needs of the people of the Church and this desire is found in the role of women today across the globe, particularly in the West.
Canadox is one of the most thoughtful and researched Contemporary Coptic Orthodox blogs I've seen. Each post reads like a chapter in a book and the questions raised are so pressing (and relevant to the Church in North America) that I hope it gets more traction and visibility in our Coptic Orthodox Community.
