certainly, they have a fully developed and ancient, traditional spiritual life.
the psalms in the agpeya are the same as in the coptic church as they have a long history together.
they fast and bow down a bit more than us (yes, we are not the most hard core orthodox Christians!) otherwise we are exactly the same

we have an ethipian orthodox priest in britain who is ethnically caribbean but joined the orthodox church as an adult. he has learnt all the customs and culture very well (caribbean culture has partly west african roots, and this is very different to the east africans culturally).
