hey you guys.. as you can see im a Newbie her :).. I love this site.. its awsome and you guys are great ;)
well i was just wondering what do you guys think of FRIENDSHIP??
and is there anyone that has a specific story about it or anything like that???

Well maybe he means that a true friend won't hinder you on your path to being independent. Kind of how like your parents shouldn't always be helping you so you know how to survive on your own. or maybe that was a typo?
A simple friend will come and visit you in prison

lol.. I really liked dat when I saw it, I thought it was funny, and true..in a way..although I don't think I'd like to be in anyyy of those positions, lol. But it could be taken metephorical ;D ;D
i think friendship is very very important to me becoz i cant liv without ma frendz they r just soo supportive nd stuff although i dun hav a sister i take ma mum as ma sista nd best frend ;D also God of coarse cums first of tha first but fendz on earth definately they r there till the end wit u as sum2 sed earlier thru thik and thin how gr8 nd awsome

To be honest, it was a quote that I once read in a book (as usual...lol), and I just wanted to share it with you guys. I never really gave it much thought, but I'm guessing that the author to this quote was trying to say that a true friend won't let you rely on people, they will help you earn what you want rather than getting by the easy way, but that's just me. Anyone who has any input on it, be my guest. lol

Friendship is something important that everyone needs and should be charished.

She said, "No. Many people are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."
Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer. So this time I told her, "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes."
She looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind."
Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, "No. But you are getting smarter every year, my child."
Then last year, my grandpa died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that especially because it was the first time I saw him cry. My Mom looked at me and she asked me, "Do you know the most important body part yet, ya ro7y?"
I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a game between her and me. She saw the confusion on my face and told me, "This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in our life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you were wrong and I have given you an example why. But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson."
She looked down at me as only a mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, "My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder."
I asked, "Is it because it holds up my head?"
She replied, "No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it."
Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one . It is sympathetic to the pain of others. People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel. Say a little prayer that God will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more understanding of those who are different from us!!! There's a miracle called Friendship that dwells in the heart. You don't know how it happens or when it gets started. But you know the special lift. It always brings and you realize that Friendship Is God's most precious gift! Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their hearts to us.
