Hey everybody,
All the Copts in Chicago are having this peaceful demonstration on May 25th where we will gather in front of this museum and we will be singing hymns and Egyptian national songs. We are doing this because we are trying to make people aware of the persecution that Copts receive in Egypt, and so that their human rights are not taken away from them. The governor of Illinois and the mayor of Chicago will be there, and there will also be Muslim human rights activists who are supporting our cause.
I'm told that Copts all over the world are having these same kinds of demonstrations, and I just wanted to know if the churches in your city have done the same thing, and if you think it accomplished anything.
Thanks and God Bless.
