The only other ways I know of are to buy a special cord (not for all phones) and download them from the computer to your phone or you can have someone that has a ringtone to send you the ringtone.

I used to have a Verizon LG phone as well. Verizon limits you to how you can get ringtones. The idea of the Cord as Egyptianmatt91 suggested will NOT work. You would have to wait out your contract and upgrade to the Motorola 710 (that's what I did) and it is great, you can actually put MP3s and Wav files on there (you get your favorite tasbeha on, hehe)

My cell phone is also LG from verizon. u should have the ringtone in the MIDI file type. go to http://www.coptichymns.net/modules.php?name=Ringtones u will find 12 files with this format just download it and send them by e-mail to (ur number)@vzwpix.com. when u recieve the msg on the cell just choose options and save as ringtone. if u wanna a song or hymn out of this list u can just play it on the computer and record it from the cell phone(speaker to mic) then send it as an e-mail. from the e-mail send it back to the cell so u can save it as a ringtone. but it should be small size. good luck. if it's gonna work with u just pray for me

may be u can do it by urself get the whole coptic hymns and use jet audio http://www.jetaudio.com/download/ to record the part which u want, chose the kind of music that work with ur phone and u can send it to ur phone by the data cable
