What do you think is the best thing for a person to do when he loses the feeling of guilt when he commits a certain sin. How can he get that feeling back which is very important in the road to repentance.
I also feel quite apathetic. I hope someone answers this. I guess the best we can do is want to feel guilty- and pray to God for repentance and a "broken contrite heart". Repentance is a gift. One of the things I mentioned before in the "Addicted to sin" thread was to help with motivation. Alas, I am regretful to say I haven't yet followed the advice! However, I think that is worth looking at. I will with the grace of God implement it, but I guess I just need some time for its organisation- which is quite a pitiful excuse. I think we should read "Diabolic Wars" and "Life of Repentance" by H.H. Pope Shenouda III.
