I read somewhere that non orthodox Christians claim not to ask intercession of saints because the Bible say that the Holy Spirit himself Intercedes for us, so why ask the saints.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
is this talking about the Holy Spirit, or our own spirit?

According to Orthodox teachings, the Spirit mentioned in this verse is The Holy Spirit.
