  Thanks, but that must not be the one I was looking for, I was actually looking for a church I had heard about, that is standing on nothing but water! If you have any information, it would be greatly appreciated!

  Most likely this is the church that Dutch-Copt (roberto123) was refering ur attention to. At one point water flooded old Babylon Fortress inwhich the hanging church was built on.

  We are all talking about the same church, if you follow "roberto123's" websites they should lead you to more information on how it was built. The church is named ofter the Virgin and it's not standing on pillars alone. Only the nave (where the congregation sit) of the church is suspended or hanging the rest isn't.
