How to read the Holy Bible in order to hear God's voice

How should one read the Bible in order to read God's voice? Should one start with Genesis 1 and read all the way to the Revelations? Or should one follow a reading plan than consists of 2 Old Testament and 2 New Testament readings?

Furthermore, what does God's voice sound like?

    It sounds like you're wanting to read the bible to hear God's voice. You may hear His voice when you live your life in Him according to the commandments and His wisdom and in humble repentance.
    I would start at Genesis because you will find the goodness of God.
    I will post later but U think that would be a start.
