Awol (ⲉⲃⲟⲗ) means out or out of, and as @feeby says it has different connotations in different statements because the Coptic language has a similar parallel to phrasal verbs in English.. Therefore ⲭⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ means leave out or forgive, ⲃⲱⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ means loosen, among other meanings..

Ⲭⲁ is another version of ⲭⲱ so basically ⲭⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ (leave out, forgive)
Ⲛⲉⲛⲛⲟⲃⲓ (our sins)
Ⲛⲁⲛ (for us)
Leave our sins out for us, forgive us our sins
Ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡϭⲥ

Ⲛⲟⲃⲓ is a sin ⲛⲉⲛ is our for the plural as opposed to to ⲡⲉⲛ our for the masculine singular as in ⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅

ok, now you put me on the spot!

(just like my confession father who used to give us coptic lessons while we were sat waiting for Bible study and not interested in coptic!)

it means 'our Lord and our God and our saviour Jesus Christ'

i am glad to see that feeby is more enthusiastic about coptic than i was, well done
