    God bless you

  • I think you should remove your number. What church does he serve in?

Most of the priests' email addresses are posted on here:

Oh, and welcome to the site :)
  • Chandra1977,

I regret to tell you but the Very Rev. Fr & Hegumenos, Dr. Gabriel Abdelsayed, of the Coptic Orthodox Church of St. Mark in Jersey City, NJ, and 1st ordained priest for the United States, went to his rest in the Lord on 2 December 1993.
He prays for us in the Paradise among the Fathers and in the Light of the Lord.
  • In Fiji, there are Coptic Orthodox Mission Churches opened under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Suriel of the Coptic Church in Melbourne, Australia. You may want to contact His Grace.  Also the President of Fiji has liaison officers to the Coptic Orthodox Church in Fiji and Australia.  The relations between His Excellency, the President and His Grace are quite warm and amicable.

    I hope this helps.
  • My church also does annual mission trips to Fiji.

Chandra1977, were you referring to Abouna Gabriel from Jersey City?
  • Mark,

God lead me to Fr.Gabriel Abdelsayed. He is not passed away. There is another Fr.Gabriel. So plese if anyone could help. Thank you.
  • Maybe in the regions down under [Australia], none in North America by that name.
  • That is the Great Fr. Gabriel, whom I related.  He went to his rest 2 December 1993.  There is no doubt or mistake in identity.
