So obviously EVERYONE has suffered from this addiction and i recently ran across this free filter that blocks all of it.
its FREE no sign up necessary
https://store.opendns.com/familyshield/setup/just go to this website and follow the intructions. you can either set the filter on a computer (which only affects the computer you put it on) or your router which will block those sites on all devices using that wifi network or LAN.
yeah even though i put it on myself and know how to take it off, it has been a big help for me

I think its a huge help for anyone.
Sometimes, I do searches for icons (PNG) files for presentations, and I type in something in google images, and a few hits appear, but there's always a chance that a porn image appears with it inadvertently.
Does this application handle such cases??

Google itself can do that for you. You simply have to change your 'safesearch' settings to strict and save.

but when someone really wants to see bad movies or pics, they can simply change the settings back, it's that easy.
This thread inspired me to look at my own Google search filter level (I hardly ever use Google to search for images, so I hadn't thought about it). It was "moderate", but I don't know what that means ("moderate" compared to what? Results that would be 100% pornography?), so I changed it to "strict". Thanks, Crazy4Christ1.
