Singing hymns in the shower..

i was having a small pascha while showering and my mom overheard me and yelled at me when i got out because the bathroom is not a place to bring gods name in..

    LOOL... this is an islamic concept of not mentioning God's name in the bathroom.

    But, God is everywhere, He's with you when you shower, or when you're in the bathroom... He's with you everywhere, AT ALL TIME!!!

    so dont worry about it, continue having your paschas, and sing your hymns while you shower... usually when I'm giving a talk, I practice while I'm in the shower, I think I learned singing half of the hymns I know from singing them in the shower.

    LOL I sing hymns in the shower all the time!

    And if it makes you feel better/confirms that this is okay and good, my Father of Confession encouraged me to say short prayers all the time wherever I am....and he mentioned in the bathroom too!
