[quote author=copticuser20 link=topic=11802.msg141025#msg141025 date=1310008069] When is this hymn sung?
http://tasbeha.org/hymn_library/view/1351 "Said as a greeting to His Holiness, welcoming him for his arrival to the homeland." we say it when he comes to the states all the time and he just loves it :).
[quote author=aiernovi link=topic=11802.msg141030#msg141030 date=1310020504] interesting note: the tune of this hymn comes from the old egyptian national anthem!!
note in the link i posted: :) "This hymn can also be said on the tune that Ma’llem Mikhael the Great put that is recorded by Ma’llem Tawfik and is constructed on the national anthem of Egypt at the time."
[quote author=1/21/91 link=topic=11802.msg141029#msg141029 date=1310013330] is there a recording of the long way to say this hymn out there somewhere?
i heard one recording before of the old chorus i think with the 1st two parts (may only one of them)......but it's all tarkeeb really if you do say it.

Where are the tunes on which this greeting is supposed to be chanted in (e.g. Said on Owoh ten tune)? Where is tune and the other tunes that the note says?

I have not heard it during the liturgy ever--hehe..in fact,i havn't heard of anyone saying it except us here in the tri-state area simply because His Holiness is here all the time. we did say it after liturgy during the giving of eulogia but i don't think there is a place for it within the liturgy.
