Engagment and Wedding Ring Tradition in Coptic Church

hey everyone,

i was just wondering if someone can explain the tradition in our church concerning engagement rings, wedding rings, the "dibel", the bands, what happens after the wedding with the rings, which hand the ring goes on during the engagement vs wedding, and anything else concerning the rings in our church and how it differs from western customs, and if it's different in the coptic churches in America vs the coptic churches in egypt, and if american culture has influenced the wedding traditions in american coptic church.

    oh haha, im not getting married or anything. i just attended a wedding and i was curious as to what exactly what our tradition is concerning the rings.
