Hi guys,
Please excuse my ignorance regarding stem cell research but I have a couple of questions:
Why is the Coptic Orthodox Church against stem cell research? Is it because an embryo must be killed to obtain those cells that have not yet specialized? Or are there other reasons too?
What about the type of research that does not require the killing of an embryo? Is that also against our Christian views?
Thank you : )
