Abu Sefein Icons and Books

I am having a difficult time finding books on Abu Sefein/St Philopater Mercurius as well as icons.

I would appreciate any help in getting Icons of him especially. I ordered one from St Antony Monastery, but I would like a few more. Please this is very important and soon will explain why.

i think there are much more books in arabic than in egnlish.

That is what I was afraid of. I mean, I have read his story I would just like to have it in a book. But I need, yes literally need, icons of him.

You should get your relatives or friends in Egypt to get you everything you need from Abu Sefein's monastery in Masr El Adeema. I went there early last year and I can assure they will have everything you need in both arabic and english. If you live in australia I have some of his books that I can lend you.

Thanks guys! thebooss20, not one of my family even speaks arabic, let alone lives in Egypt lol. I mean I guess I could ask my church, but I have no idea when I will be out of the hospital with my daughter.

I actually have a question about this saint. In the synexarium it says that he killed the barbarians with his swords. Is this the same kind of murder as self defense?
