Feast of Transfiguration
I Was just wondering what is the spiritual significance of the story of the transfiguration of Christ?

The Son took the body of man and glorified it through His life-giving death, so will man be glorified through his participation in the Son's death.
Transfiguration was the transfiguration of man from being earthly to being eternal, from mortal to immortal, from corrupt to in-corrupt, from dullness to brightness, and from slavery to lordship.
In the Transfiguration, we find commune between heavenly and the earthly, the old covenant and the new through their artificer's Lordship. He declared that He is the master and yet for the love of man He would hide and empty His glory to save him.
