for all u hymn lovers out there, why is the 'conclusion to sat-sun Holy lent' hymn on this page
http://tasbeha.org/mp3/Hymns/Fasts/Great_Lent/Wagdi_Bishara/Great_Lent_-_Liturgy.htmldifferent from the hymn lyrics here:
http://tasbeha.org/hymn_library/view/688the line 'sha entevsotten khen nenovi' (my own poor transliteration so please no sahidic / greco bohairic / old bohairic discussions here which are way over my head!)
is not in the audio hymn. should we be singing this line? and if so, how do we pronounce it? (ok, here u can have all yr coptic language arguments!)
i know i just have to listen more carefully on sunday to see if it's there or not, but i am often distracted at this point (making sure i don't miss the holy water, watching the sub deacons tidying the altar etc.)
and (if i may ask 2 questions in one post!) does anyone have the lyrics for the weekday conclusion? i am off work (yay!) so get to go to church once or twice this week during the week
:)

In my church, we usually say it. I do not know why he is not singing it.
About your second question here is the lyrics
http://tasbeha.org/hymn_library/view/43
and the audio is the one before last on this list

I personally say sa `ntefcwtten qen nennobi mainly because it fits perfectly in meaning. The phrase "sa `ntefcwtten qen nennobi" means "to save us from our sins" so it only makes sense to be placed there since right after this we say "cw] `mmon ouoh nai nan" which means "save us and have mercy on us".
As to your second question, here is how Ibrahim Ayad chants the weekday conclusion of liturgy during Lent: Cwmatoc by Cantor Ibrahim Ayad
I hope you find this helpful!

We say it that way too.
