Does anyone know where I can purchase a book that can teach proper Coptic grammar and words etc. I want to learn how to speak Coptic fluently and I don't know where to begin.

Thank you caji!
Thank God, I have the opportunity to be in a Sahidic Coptic class in my university. The difference is like reading modern english vs old english. There are different spellings of words, different constructions of sentences, but if you look hard enough, most of the time you can figure out what a passage is saying based on knowledge of the other dialect .
It's fairly dense, and I had a hard time going through it since it uses a lot of technical terminology and I haven't had any other experience in learning historical languages.
I would definitely go with Bohairic to start off then. The book caji recommended is very reader-friendly is geared at Copts who want to better understand the Coptic used in church (vs. professors in religion trying to read ancient coptic texts)
