Why have the bornoses with the hoods stopped being worn, as well can priests wear these or just bishops

    bornoses with the hood isn’t made a lot in the Coptic church they are usually gifts from other churches such as the Armenian orthodox or the byzantine orthodox church. Priests can wear these also bishops can to.

    but if you watch the ordination of pope kyrillos and pope shenouda, every metropolitan and bishop had one of these, even in the first couple of decades pope shenouda always had one
