Patriarch Abune Paulose of Ethiopia enters Eternal Rest

His Holiness Abuna Paulos, Fifth Patriarch and Catholicos of the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia, Ichege (an Ethiopian Orthodox ecclesiastical title) of the See of St. Tekle Haymanot, and Archbishop of Axum is said to have reposed last night.

May his prayers be with us all and may his memory be eternal!

    My Coptic sister called me and told me this afternoon of the passing of our Ethiopian Patriarch Abuna Paulos!

    I know he was glad to chant for Baba Shenouda III at the funeral. One left us during Holy Lent the other during the Fast of our Holy Virgin Mother Saint Mary!!! Now they can be together in heaven!
    God repose their souls!
