Saint Mario

Hi,

I was talking with someone from the Catholic Church whose name is Mario and he mentioned that there is a saint Mario. They celebrate his feast this weekend (Saturday I think).

I have not been able to find his story anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find it?

    i think it's just the male version of maria, like we have female versions of male saint names (georgina for example).

    The guy said there is a st Mario, it's a he. So not just the name, but I guess that might be the origin of the name

    Since he's a Catholic saint, I think you're better off trying a Catholic site.
