Decided to post this on this thread because I didn't feel the query was worth a new thread. 

Does anyone know who this cantor is? I listen to him a lot, but don't know his name.

Is anyone able to find this hymn in any of the Eastern churches?

Are you asking about Genethlion? No it is not found in any Eastern Orthodox Church. How can I tell? It's considered "bad" Greek. Any EO church would not have any hymn in "bad" Greek. Technically, it's not "bad" Greek, it's Copticized Greek or Copto-Greek. When I get a chance I will post the proper Greek version of Genethlion.
