Orthodox Contemplations on the Story of Job

edited December 2014 in Faith Issues
Hi
Can someone provide me with any Orthodox father's contemplation on the story of Job - either Post-Nicene or Ante-Nicene fathers?

Thanks

  • St. John Chrysostom wrote a book, "Commentary of the Sages". Check it out!

Sasi, surely St Athanasius isn't that bad?! ;)
  • Who said St Thanos is bad?

Mina - can you give me a link to a PDF of that?
    Cheers

Lol you said you wanted 'Post-Nicene or Ante-Nicene fathers'. St Athanasius falls into neither category.
  • Nicene or post nicene fathers. St Athanasios is fine.

Lol you missed the joke, if you wanted just any Father, then saying 'Post-Nicene or Ante-Nicene fathers' was redundant.

Anyway, sorry for derailing the thread with my lame attempts at humour.

I don't know where to find a pdf of it. The book was given to me as a gift. It is quite affordable though. Amazon sells it for 16.
  • Fr Tadros Malaty has a version, but its in Arabic.

I met him once. Absolutely awesome man. So kind. He gave me like 10 books free of charge. Just threw them at me. I'm sad the story of Job is for sale. It should be free
