Origin/Use of the cymbals and triangle

I have a couple of questions regarding the cymbals and the triangle in the Coptic church.
  • How the cymbals and the triangle came into the Coptic church. 
  • There's a contradictory teaching about the cymbals: some books and many priests and cantors teach that the cymbals are used to adjust the pace of the hymn. If that statement is true: why are cymbals not used in Lenten weekday liturgies? 
  • If the cymbals are used to adjust the pace of the hymn, what is the triangle used for?
