Armenian, Coptic, and Syriac are altogether in communion as "Oriental Orthodox", where we reject the council of Chalcedon. We are a diverse group with diverse liturgical rites, but same faith.
The "Assyrian Church of the East" is an ancient church which split from world Orthodoxy in the early fifth century when it decided to reject the council of Ephesus 431 and rehabilitate Nestorius, Theodore of Mopsuestia, and Diodore of Tarsus.
