What's your opinion about salafism?

Hello,Coptic brothers and sisters. I am from Indonesia, and recently heard about an islamic movement known as salafi. Their da3wa is not as prevalent as in Arab land, due to country's diversity. Even some Aceh (the only province in Indonesia that practicing sharia law) Ulama/syeikhs label them as heretics. What is your opinion about this?
