Does anyone know how to say happy birthday in coptic. if u have a translating site i want the url.....lol

Ok.... this is the one I know, used commonly:

This is in the Happy Birthday tune, and its meaning is .. roughly. "happy year with Jesus x2, with sweet and good things, Happy year with Jesus.

Also... this is another good one...

Nofri pe pek ehom misi.
Pamenreet (name of the person) nofri pe pek ehom misi.
Ekezmaroot ensok, khen pek ehom misi."

actually, ive heard both be4. sometimes at birthdays there's a mix, some ppl say yausa, and others say gamil(a)

actually in egypt we used to sing it with ya gamel(a) part but when i came here they taught me ma yasoo3 part.. they say it here in the US. base they dont in egypt

Call abouna Shenouda Doss in Ottawa Canada. He used to sing Happy B'day in Coptic for everyone when we were kids. Actually, we didnt know what he was singing. I didnt understand a word of it, but i was just a kid.

Best thing 2 do is call abouna Pigol in Germany. He's such a nice man. He'll be so happy to know that u r interested in doing this in Coptic. He's a very pro coptic priest, and all his kids speak fluent Coptic and his wife. He's absolutely a super super nice man.

Lol call abouna shenouda in Rochester, New York. He has a phd in coptic language and he speaks it fluently in the old traditional bohairic way.
