if you guys dont mind me contributing i got this in an email... wow this made me cry... :'( :'( :'(
This is powerful > To my beloved child,
>- As you got up this morning, I watched you, and hoped you would talk to me, >even if it was just a few words, asking my opinion or thanking me for >something good that happened in your life yesterday. But I noticed you were >too busy, trying to find the right outfit to wear. > >When you ran around the house getting ready, I knew there would be a few >minutes for you to stop and say hello, but you were to busy. At one point >you had to wait fifteen minutes with nothing to do except sit in a chair. >Then I saw you spring to your feet. I thought you wanted to talk to me but >you ran to the phone and called a friend to get the latest gossip instead. I >watched patiently all day long. With all our activities I guess you were too >busy to say anything to me. > >I noticed that before lunch you looked around, maybe you felt embarrassed to >talk to me, that is why you didn't bow your head. You glanced three or four >tables over and you noticed some of your friends talking to me briefly >before they ate, but you didn't. That's okay. There is still more time left, >and I hope that you will talk to me yet. > >You went home and it seems as if you had lots of things to do. After a few >of them were done, you turned on the TV. I don't know if you like TV or not, >just about anything goes there and you spend a lot of time each day in front >of it not thinking about anything, just enjoying the show. I waited >patiently again as you watched the TV and ate your meal, but again you >didn't talk to me. > >Bedtime I guess you felt too tired. After you said goodnight to your family >you plopped into bed and fell asleep in no time. That's okay because you may >not realize that I am always there for you. I've got patience, more than you >will ever know. I even want to teach you how to be patient with others as >well. > >I love you so much that I wait everyday for a nod, prayer or thought, or a >thankful part of your heart. It is hard to have a one-sided conversation. > >Well, you are getting up once again. Once again I will wait, with nothing >but love for you. Hoping that today you will give me some time. Have a nice >day! > >Your friend, GOD

You went home and it seems as if you had lots of things to do.
yeah we seem to be busy with non lasting life and we forget in our best times to thank Him or talk to him for even 1 minute! that was great, that topic is the best now with this amazing poems
Well, you are getting up once again. Once again I will wait, with nothing
There are times in every life when we feel hurt or alone... But I believe that these times when we feel lost and all around us seems to be falling apart are really bridges of growth.
We struggle and try to recapture the security of what was, but almost in spite of ourselves... we emerge on the other side with a new understanding, a new awareness a new strength.
It is almost as though we must go through the pain and the struggle in order to grow and reach new heights.
In this world things come and go, And we can't know what the future may hold. Nothing really stays the same, And when we least expect it our lives are changed.
If something ever changes And we happen to lose touch Please know that I'll always think of you And miss you very much.
So before the world changes I just wanted to say I'm thankful that we're friends Yesterday and today.
With time and fortune on our side I hope we never part But if we do, remember you Are forever in my heart!
I have this poem I made about helping others who are in need of help...hope you like it!

that was great, that topic is the best now with this amazing poems and He is still waiting for us!!!
God bless you
A clothesline was a news forecast
To neighbors passing by.
There were no secrets you could keep
When clothes were hung to dry.
It also was a friendly link
For neighbors always knew
If company had stopped on by
To spend a night or two.
For then you'd see the fancy sheets
And towels on the line;
You'd see the company table clothes
With intricate design.
The line announced a baby's birth
To folks who lived inside
As brand new infant clothes were hung
So carefully with pride.
The ages of the children could
So readily be known
By watching how the sizes changed
You'd know how much they'd grown.
It also told when illness struck,
As extra sheets were hung;
Then nightclothes, and a bathrobe, too,
Haphazardly were strung.
It said, "Gone on vacation now"
When lines hung limp and bare.
It told, "We're back!" when full lines sagged
With not an inch to spare.
New folks in town were scorned upon
If wash was dingy gray,
As neighbors raised their brows,
And looked disgustedly away.
But clotheslines now are of the past
For dryers make work less.
Now what goes on inside a home
Is anybody's guess.
I really miss that way of life.
It was a friendly sign
When neighbors knew each other best
By what hung on the line! [/center]
that tells me that yesterday's gone and 2day is gonna go!
Wouldn't this old world be better
If the folks we meet would say,
"I know something good about you!"
And then treat us just that way?
Wouldn't it be fine and dandy
If each handclasp warm and true
Carried with it this assurance,
"I know something good about you!"
Wouldn't life be lots more happy,
If the good that's in us all
Were the only things about us
That folks bothered to recall?
Wouldn't life be lots more happy,
If we praised the good we see?
For there's such a lot of goodness
In the worst of you and me.
Wouldn't it be nice to practice
That fine way of thinking, too?
You know something good about me!
I know something good about you!
A New Strength
There are times in every life
when we feel hurt or alone...
But I believe that these times
when we feel lost
and all around us seems
to be falling apart
are really bridges of growth.
We struggle and try to recapture
the security of what was,
but almost in spite of ourselves...
we emerge on the other side
with a new understanding,
a new awareness
a new strength.
It is almost as though
we must go through the pain
and the struggle
in order to grow
and reach new heights.
Forever In My Heart
In this world things come and go,
And we can't know what the future may hold.
Nothing really stays the same,
And when we least expect it our lives are changed.
If something ever changes
And we happen to lose touch
Please know that I'll always think of you
And miss you very much.
So before the world changes
I just wanted to say
I'm thankful that we're friends
Yesterday and today.
With time and fortune on our side
I hope we never part
But if we do, remember you
Are forever in my heart!
My Saviour
I share with you this rose of love
for all the world to see...
to know of my great appreciation
of the blessings HE has given me.
Remember:
HE will always love you!!
