Je Nai Nan is the hymn that the priest says first and then the congregation responds. It is part of the Gregorian Liturgy, and we usually say it during the Holy Lent, right before the priest prays for the air of the heaven, the fruits of the earth, the waters of the rivers, etc.
In english, we say
Have mercy upon us, O God, our Savior.(3) Lord Have mercy.
- Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy upon us O God, the Father the Pantocrator. - Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy upon us O God our Savior. - Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy upon us O God, and have mercy. Lord have mercy.
