Why could not the blood of animals take away sin?

edited December 1969 in Faith Issues
Is it because animals do not have a spirit .. Jesus did..

Animals cannot take on the punishment of being seperated from God since they do not have a spirit? is that true?

Since God is Unlimited can't He make it that an animals can take on our sins?

Was Jesus' death really sufficient? He did not take on our punishment of being seperated from God forever but only for a few hours (was He even seperated from God?)

Im not sure if I make sense..

Pray for me..

  • It was the human race that was dead and in order for the sacrifice to work, a HUMAN was to offer himself as a sacrifice so that ALL humans were forgiven. Ofcourse there is no human who is perfect which is why Jesus Christ who is God was the only one who could perform this sacrifice, he is perfect, he had no sin, and he willingly gave his life. And ofcourse the body of our Lord Jesus was Sufficient enough to save the souls of all mankind.
