Apparently, their biggest critics are the Christian communities. What does our Church think of such missionaries?
On the one hand, yes I think its good to evangelise porn stars, but i think it would be more effective for porn stars or anyone in the porn industry to come to Church, as opposed the Church to come to them.
Its hard to say;
If there's a coptic priest/deacon here, i'd like to know what they think; if such type of evangelisation is acceptable or if we condone it in our Church???

Hi Mina,
The Church would be against giving bibles to porn stars in the hope that they repent and no longer continue what they are doing?
I asked the question, not because i knew the answer, or because i had an answer formulated already in my head, but because i know the spirituality and wisdom of the Coptic Church. Perhaps it would be wrong to do such activities because those evangelising could be harmed or enter into a sin themselves??
What is the reason though for the Church to be against this.
I remember Saint Francis of ASsisi said: "Evangelise, and if at ALL necessary, use words" meaning that perhaps we should preach through our own personal lives, and not through speaking or going around preaching to others?
What is the view of the Holy Coptic Church?? I know whatever it suggests is wise, and i would like to know. (Why is it against this type of evangelisation then is the question!). :)

Its just the XXX Church received a lot of complaints , and apparently, the most coming from other Christians. I just wanted to know what the stance of the Coptic Church was?
I personally cannot judge anyone at all; nor what/who they evangelise.
The daughter of Harry Flint (one of the most powerful figures in the porn industry) is dead against pornography and evangelises against it.
That's great. It reminds me of Saint Demiana who evangelised her father, and converted him again , on which he later became a martyr under Diocletion.
Its a very brave thing to do; especially in the states, where porn stars are respected more than priests, or noble people; even giving them a title like "stars" just shows how they are magnified. How could anyone magnify nor honour such actions??

well, it's more like your topic in God's Direction. porn stars are not only having sex with the opposite sex, no, but it's everyone. but here porno is more perferable by people. somehow it applys for everyone (who lust for sexual acts). that's why as you said, they got the title "stars" for no reason what so ever except that people just love watching others have sex. also a big part of it is the money. people would pay this or that just to see others naked, but what would they do if they see them doing it.
it's just the world we're living in. corrupt secioty and people that would just lead others with them.
