Blessed "happy" Orhtodox people,
You know I travel around the world a lot, and i've been to many orthodox churches.I just want to say that the tasbeha in the Coptic Church in France is MIND BLOWING! THe youth in Villejuif (Saint George's and Saint Mikhail's Church) France are amazing. They are so young, and do certain things in the tasbeha so well... i've never heard it that way before. If i tape them, would you like to upload it to tasbeha.org???
THey are also very humble. Its quite remarkable seeing them together. They are around 18 years old, and direct the holy Mass together, and sing so well...
Is there a certain hymn in your Church that you do differently that no other Church does?
For example, there was a time in Saint Mark's London that we did Arepsalin in a very cool / funky way. It was remarkable. Our sunday school teacher came in and did it that way, and we just copied him. Its hard to do it that way again because if you are singing with people who do not know that style, its quite hard. Its for this reason i wish to record the style of each Church, that way, if u travel to France, u can learn how we do the tasbeha in that country (and vice versa for any other country u may be in!).
Regards
